Design

Cirrus is an outdoor park luminaire – produced by Fagerhult.

It is a contemporary luminaire with a high degree of aesthetics and a comfortable light, which will be well suited for residential areas, parks, paths etc.

My basic principle is always to keep the design as simple as possible, so every design feature is influenced by functionality, construction, or production techniques, and at the same time I want to make sure that the lines and curves of the design are clean and harmonious. This is very much true for Cirrus. A good example of this principle is one of the main design features – the edge of the top part, which seals the luminaire and also ensures that water drips off. It is a technical feature, but it also serves as a nice design feature, which adds some character to the luminaire.

LED technology has been integrated in the design and the slightly curved lines of the luminaire result in an elegant appearance – during the night with the lights on as well as during the day with the lights off.

Comfortable glare-free light is ensured by placing the LEDs in the base, and light is reflected on the top part providing a nice indirect light.
