Avenue

Avenue for @ThornLighting is an innovative and modular outdoor lighting concept designed for a sustainable future and a long lifetime.

Based on one modular platform Avenue is available in 2 very different types; The park luminaire, where Avenue meets the expectation of comfort and aesthetics, and the street luminaire, where Avenue meets the expectation of high performance.

Avenue’s modularity and the quad-design enables you to create many different versions for park and street lighting with the same units. You can mount a Zhaga, a bracket or a suspension on the same platform. You can turn the entire gear tray/LED unit or replace it. You can upgrade the luminaire or integrate new technology without having to change the entire luminaire.

The Avenue design is based on the equilateral triangle – a geometrical shape, which is harmonious and will naturally please the eye. As a Danish designer, Morten Lyhne is influenced by the Danish design tradition, which focuses on good craftsmanship, functionalism, minimalism and aesthetics. Every design feature makes sense in relation to functionality, construction and production methods, and the design consists of as few parts as possible in pure and reusable materials.
