The Design Process

Design process

The design process is typically kicked off with a design brief and a dialogue about requirements and wishes.

Based on the design brief, my experience and technical knowledge I prepare sketches that visualize the idea and construction. The next phase in the process is building a prototype in my workshop, and it is not until I physically work with the prototype that I can see and feel if the design and construction work as intended.

Based on my prototypes I carry out user tests in addition to technical tests where I monitor and adjust until I am satisfied with the performance and aesthetics of the product.

Design proposals

My design proposals have a high level of maturity and they always comprise a physical prototype, because I find that this is the best way of communicating the design idea and functionality to the customers.

Following my design proposal, I work together with the customer to mature the product to the customer’s and my own satisfaction.
